The project
The PES League was KONAMI’s official eSports competition for Pro Evolution Soccer until 2019. In 2018, it became the epicenter of virtual football, bringing together the best Pro Evolution Soccer players in a series of events that culminated in a World Grand Final.
The 2018 PES League season was more than just a competition: it was a European tour that crowned Ettorito97 and Broken Silence as World Champions.
From the Regional Finals in Barcelona and Milan to the Europe Round in Berlin, each stop was a spectacle in its own right, providing a platform where more than 80 players competed for glory. The World Grand Final, the season’s ultimate event, took the excitement to new heights, attracting a global audience of over 3.5 million streaming viewers.
Our role
At AD1, we were responsible for transforming every PES League 2018 into a high-level experience. From the start, we took on the mission of organizing, producing, and managing the most important European events of the season, ensuring that every detail contributed to an unforgettable competition.
We handled the selection and design of ideal venues for each stop, creating spaces that embodied the intensity and excitement of virtual football. We managed the complete logistics for players, including transportation, accommodations, and personalized support, so they could focus solely on delivering their best performance on the field.
We also produced and broadcasted each competition live, capturing key moments and connecting with millions of viewers. With over 3.5 million streaming viewers. The 2018 PES League achieved impressive levels of audience engagement.
