The project
In 2022, within the framework of Euskal Encounter, the largest LAN Party event in Europe, KeenCon held a Quake Champions competitions, creating a unique experience for amateur and professional players.
The Open Quake Champions KeenCon by Gamegune brought together more than 50 participants who competed in an intense battle for first place. The prize for the top two players was an invitation to participate in the professional tournament, which was attended by professional players, including Maxter (core member of the GO4T team) and Serious, who was crowned champion of the event.
This tournament had worldwide coverage with broadcasts on 3 Twitch channels: KeenConTV, GameGune and ShaftasticTV, accumulating more than 50k views in total.
Our role
In this project, AD1 acted as the tournament operator, within the LAN Party, managing all logistical and operational aspects of the tournament. From organisation and execution to branding, we provided a competitive experience that united players of all levels in a global celebration of Quake Champions.
