The project
The transition from the classic PES League to the eFootball™ Championship Open marked a milestone in eSports. While the eFootball™ Championship Open sets the standard for professional play, this tournament provides amateur players worldwide with a unique opportunity to shine on a global stage.
AD1 has organized everything from regional finals to global championships, designing a virtual experience that transcends borders. Each season brings the best amateur players from every continent into intense competitions, connecting thousands of fans from all corners of the world.
Our role
As a trusted agency for KONAMI with extensive experience in managing eFootball™ tournaments, AD1 took on the challenge of overseeing the Championship Open.
In every edition, we’ve coordinated with players from all continents, ensuring a seamless tournament experience. We’ve directed, refereed, and recorded every match remotely, maintaining the same quality as an in-person event. Additionally, we managed global broadcasts of the tournaments, attracting nearly a million viewers during the World Finals in 2022.
